South Bay Business Lawyers are excited to welcome Carol Ann Glover as Of Counsel to their established legal practice. With Carol’s addition to the firm’s roster, SBBL’s clients can expect even more comprehensive service with a new and knowledgeable adviser in all matters pertaining to real estate law, including lease agreements, landlord/tenant issues, and loan workouts.

In 22 years of practice, Carol has developed broad experience in real estate purchases and sales transactions, commercial leases, escrow and title advisory, property management and development, asset organization and restructuring, construction and architect contracts, landlord/tenant issues, loan workouts and litigation related to these areas. Carol is also a California licensed Real Estate Broker and co-owner of a real estate development firm and a property management firm.

Carol earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Irvine, before attending Loyola Law School. After graduating in 1989, she began practicing with a large Los Angeles litigation firm before transitioning to a small boutique real estate and business law firm in Torrance. In 1997 she opened her own firm in the South Bay where she has practiced real estate law, property development and real estate development. With over twenty years of hands-on experience in management and development and re-development of single family homes and commercial properties, Carol has extensive insight into both legal and practical real estate decision making.

Carol is an active member of the community in Manhattan Beach, where she currently serves on the Mayor’s Youth Council for 2011-2012, and as the Business Liaison to the City of Manhattan Beach Senior Advisory Committee. She has actively served on the City of Manhattan Beach Strategic Facilities Committee and the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, where she served as Chairman of the Board from 2005-2006. Carol also chaired the Women in Business Committee from 1998-2003. She received the Soroptomist “Women Advancing the Status of Women” Award in 2003 and the “Woman of the Year”Award from the Manhattan Beach Chamber Women in Business Committee in 2004.
