Meehee Seo Franz
Meehee is an experienced corporate transaction attorney. Her comprehensive corporate practice includes advising corporate clients regarding corporate formation and governance, mergers and acquisition, financing, and compliance matters. Meehee has substantial experience in drafting and negotiating a variety of corporate and commercial contracts, including purchase agreements, service agreements, vendor agreements, license agreements, shareholder agreements, and loan documents. She is passionate about helping businesses of all sizes to navigate through the difficult legal issues so that her clients can spend their time and effort focused on maximizing their business potential.
Prior to joining Chase Law Group, Meehee was an in-house counsel for a private investment company in Century City where she was actively involved in negotiating and closing acquisition, joint venture, and financing deals in the technology, entertainment, and energy industries with deal sizes ranging anywhere between $5 million to $70 million USD. In addition to her expertise in corporate transaction, she oversaw various legal matters involving employment, commercial disputes, and compliance matters on behalf of her company. She was actively involved in managing and enforcing a complex commercial arbitration on behalf of her company against an international technology company, and obtained a $400 million dollar judgment in favor for her company.
Meehee received her law degree from Pepperdine University and served as an associate editor of the National Association of Administrative Law Journal. Meehee is a Korean-American who spent her childhood growing up in Indonesia. She is fluent in Korean and Indonesian due to her multi-cultural background. She and her husband reside in Palos Verdes with her two labradoodles. Meehee is an avid skier, and enjoys hiking and going on international travels in her free time.
